The Globalization Institute

The Globalization Institute focuses on the studies of humanities & social sciences. It provides students and researchers with the opportunity to think creatively about cultural, political, social and economic globalizing processes in the contemporary era. The Globalization Institute tries to play a crucial role in promoting research and teaching in developing countries on global and international issues. It not only seeks to bring the views on globalization from developing countries but also to integrate developed countries’ studies on globalization relate topics. The Globalization Institute is positioned to create an academic platform for both students and scholars from developing countries to study the phenomenon of globalization from various critical perspectives and to help them exchange ideas on any issue occurred during the development of globalization including the environment, health, civil society, government, trade, culture, and politics.

C. Journal Publishing Fund

In order to promote the development of academic research, the Developing Country Think Tank Institute provides funds for researchers, Ph.D students, and university laboratories in developing countries to publish their research result in the institute owned journals. The aim for setting up such publishing fund is to help boost the spreading of knowledge of developing countries’ academic research. The fund’s primary function is to contribute toward the costs of expenses that are incurred in field research for the Major Research Paper.  Other research activities (apart from publishing papers in journals) will not be considered. Applicants must submit a research plan for application, a note of support from their supervisor and a budget (including additional sources of funding applied for and/or received), along with a completed application form. The Developing Country Think Tank Institute will establish cooperation relations with well-known institutions, publishers, and organizations in various academic fields.

The Institute for Global Change

The Institute for Global Change investigates the interactions between people, sustainable development and the global environment. It dedicates to the understanding the problems of global climate change and their potential solutions. One of the strengths of the Joint Institute is a network of domestic and international collaborators that encourages the development of global and equitable solutions to the climate change problem. In addition, the Institute focuses on developing dialogues around global change issues, across disciplines and national boundaries, and among diverse socio-economic stakeholders.
